ABOUT HEY MISH

We believe a home should be more than four walls - it should be a place where your identity can shine, be felt, and be celebrated. That’s why we create posters, cards, and home decor that aren’t just beautiful details, but pieces filled with stories, tradition, and joy.

The name Hey Mish comes from the Yiddish word heymish (היימיש), meaning “homey” or “warm.” And that’s exactly how we want our products to feel: welcoming, heartfelt, and full of soul.

Whether you want to say Mazel Tov in style, add a little chutzpah to your walls, or simply bring an extra touch of “oy!” into everyday life, we’ve got you covered. Our collections blend traditional Jewish elements with modern design - always with a playful twist and a dash of shmek.

THREE SISTERS

Behind Hey Mish you’ll find us: sisters Anja, Isabelle, and Emma. Three creative balebostes with a love for color, design, and Jewish culture and tradition.

The idea for Hey Mish was born from something we felt was missing: design that lets Jewish identity take up space in the home in a modern, warm, and playful way.

For us, Hey Mish is about more than decor. It’s about celebrating culture, community, and everything that makes a home feel alive, welcoming, and just a little more heymish.

A greeting, similar to ‘hey’ or ‘hello.’ Used to get someone’s attention or as a friendly way to begin a conversation.

Mishmash – מישמאש

A combination of different things that may seem unconnected, yet come together in their own perfectly harmonious way.

Heymish – היימיש

Homey, cozy, familiar. A feeling of warmth and relaxed togetherness, like being at home.
